Delete Your Account
If you created an account in a Social First game, you can use this page to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. You can request deletion using this page without needing to log into the app or reinstall it.
This page is intended for users who want to permanently delete their in-game account. According to Google Play Store’s data deletion policy and in compliance with article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘right to erasure’), you have the right to request for your data to be deleted.
Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. We do not offer account deactivation as a substitute for deletion.
Submitting an account deletion request will start the process of deleting your account and the personal data associated with it, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.
Request account deletion
To request deletion of your account, please complete the account deletion request form below.
After we receive your request, we may contact you to verify account ownership before processing the deletion.
We will endeavour to fulfil your request within 30 days of receipt.
Your account will be disabled shortly after your request is verified, and full data deletion will follow within the timeframe above.
We will also take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party service providers processing your personal data delete it where applicable.
What happens when you request deletion
When your request is processed:
- your account will be permanently deleted
-access to the account will be removed
-associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized where applicable. For example, username, email address, gameplay data
some data may be retained where required if one of the following exemptions applies:
-The data is necessary in order to comply with financial regulations
-The data is necessary for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims
-The data is necessary for security, forensic, and/or non-repudiation purposes
Retained data will be stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil these purposes, typically no longer than 6 years unless legally required otherwise.
