Our community
Pixel Worlds brings together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
People will disagree. Players will have different opinions about the game, its updates, other players and even the decisions we make as developers.
That's okay.
You do not have to agree with other players or with us. Constructive criticism and disagreement are welcome.
What we ask is that you treat the people behind those opinions with basic respect.
This Code of Conduct applies to official Pixel Worlds spaces, including the game and all official Social First / Pixel Worlds community channels.
Be respectful
Don't harass, bully, threaten or deliberately target other people.
Disagreements can become heated, but personal attacks, sustained harassment and attempts to intimidate someone cross the line.
No hate speech or discrimination
Do not attack or demean people based on characteristics such as their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics.
Hate speech and discriminatory harassment are not welcome in Pixel Worlds.
Keep things appropriate
Pixel Worlds has players of different ages and backgrounds.
Do not post sexual or explicitly inappropriate material, excessively graphic content or other material unsuitable for the community.
Respect people's privacy
Do not share, request or threaten to reveal another person's private or identifying information.
Never pressure another player to provide personal information.
Criticism is allowed. Harassment isn't.
You are allowed to dislike an update.
You are allowed to disagree with a moderation decision.
You are allowed to tell us when you think we've got something wrong.
Criticism does not become a violation simply because it is negative.
However, everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect. Criticism must not cross into harassment, threats, abuse or targeted attacks against players, developers, moderators or other Social First staff.
Do not share, seek out or encourage others to share someone's private or personal information. This includes the personal information of Pixel Worlds and Social First staff.
Satire, memes and criticism are not automatically prohibited simply because they feature or reference Pixel Worlds or its staff. Context and intent matter. Content intended to criticise or joke is different from sustained or targeted harassment.
Don't deliberately disrupt the community
Don't spam, flood channels, repeatedly derail discussions or deliberately make community spaces difficult for others to use.
Do not abuse reporting or support systems by repeatedly submitting duplicate, deliberately false or malicious reports or tickets.
Don't spread deliberate misinformation
Don't deliberately fabricate information and present it as an official Pixel Worlds statement.
Don't impersonate staff, moderators or other community members in order to deceive players.
Mistakes, rumours and speculation aren't automatically misconduct. Deliberately deceiving people is.
Help keep Pixel Worlds safe
If you see serious rule-breaking, use the available reporting tools rather than encouraging it or attempting to organise retaliation yourself.
If you discover a serious exploit, duplication method or security issue, report it privately rather than spreading instructions that allow others to abuse it.
Moderators
Moderators are community volunteers who help keep Pixel Worlds spaces safe, welcoming and usable. They are normal players and are not Social First employees or Pixel Worlds staff.
Moderators help enforce community rules and handle moderation issues, but they do not have access to internal information about upcoming updates, development plans, investigations or other confidential matters. Please don't pressure them for information they don't have.
Moderators also cannot provide game or account support, investigate bans or resolve support tickets. For account, purchase, technical or ban-related issues, please contact Pixel Worlds Support - support.pixelworlds.pw
Follow reasonable moderation instructions and don't deliberately obstruct moderators carrying out their role.
Moderators deserve the same respect and protection as every other member of the community. Harassment, threats, targeted attacks or attempts to obtain or share their personal information will not be tolerated.
Moderators are also not exempt from Pixel Worlds' rules.
Use common sense
No set of rules can describe every possible situation.
We may take action against behaviour that clearly undermines the safety, fairness or integrity of the community even where the exact behaviour isn't described word-for-word above.
